In March of 2023 @rodarmor launched Ord.io bringing functionality to the Bitcoin blockchain. While it may have been abused in some ways it was a transformative idea that solved many ongoing arguments within the small community that had built such a powerful technology carefully over the early years of it's development. Any party running a Bitcoin node can also run Ord allowing for consumer based opportunities to be developed, viewed, and classified on-chain in a secure, decentralized network.
Because Bitcoin has followed a path that could not have been predicted and has been adopted by individuals with a multitude of agendas, most of which related to making money, it has, in a short amount of time, already established a history for itself that could never have been predicted. Many of these stories became newsworthy as the network and it's users have grown together. Sats that have been associated with these events can be tracked and in some cases celebrated. Check out Sating.io or other exchanges to view a market for these rare sats. Sats from Satoshi's original wallet, from the Silk Road website, etc.
At 5p1rAL5, we envision a world where technology empowers individuals to create secure online spaces. Our mission is to educate users about the potential of Bitcoin and digital value transfer as a tool that can help provide levels of personal empowerment not seen in generations. With a couple modifications to how we think about it we would be able to accomplish this while improving the macro situation as opposed to the popular opinion that it must be destructive.
While we have much more to share and a few directions we would like to go, I will ask for your patience as we build out the site and get closer to our launch.
No matter how much money your physical business may be worth, my guess is that some level of debt exists in the background and the day to day operations are a future cost that must always be provided for in order to maintain the consistency required to thrive. While we would like to believe that our decisions are driven by our innate humanity, most of our professional decisions prove to be driven by available capital at the time the decision is made. What if we were able to work toward a world that wasn't so prohibited by spending restrictions and began to allow people the freedoms both personally and professionally that they may not have realized they've lost? The biggest fish in the financial world are benefiting greatly by using the loopholes they identify and allocating their available capital to leverage said loopholes when able. Is Bitcoin a loophole? While there are many regulatory questions that remain, I would like to suggest a solution that I believe could satisfy all parties involved without the destruction some have predicted. A window in time exists that we've never seen before. Humans throughout time have used all sorts of physical items to measure and transfer value. The fact that Bitcoin is digital not physical makes for a situation that no one could have predicted and the loopholes I see make for an opportunity that I'm not so sure the world is prepared for but may very well need at this very interesting time in history.
The enclosed systems we use in the mechanical world require that fluid levels be checked, excessive air be removed, and levels of lubrication be maintained. While financial systems are definitely not mechanical, or designed to be, the fact that we are moving away from personal judgement and into a written code for operations has brought the need for mechanical consideration into play.
While a healthy bleed can have the effect of reinvigorating the system that drives our economies. Anytime we have seen levels of excessive bleeding in jurisdictional financial systems they have left their populations lacking in regard to resource and more importantly, opportunities available to the populace.
No math yet,
It's the most important part, the sauce if you will.
Just a visual for the concept we're about to discuss.
If we the people want to end the cycles, should we not work to close the loop while we can?
Not yet ready for the feature presentation, however,
Payments are live if you'd like to pick
up some swag in the meantime.
